What we collect
- Contact details: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number.
- Your CV and career details: the file or text you give us, your target role and location, your visa type, and any notes you add.
- Order and payment records: what you bought and when. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited).
Why we use it
- To produce and deliver the pack you bought (lawful basis: contract).
- To send you your order updates, your download link and, where relevant, an offer to upgrade and a request for a review (contract and legitimate interests; you can opt out of the last two at any time).
- To handle refunds, complaints and legal obligations such as tax records (legal obligation and legitimate interests).
Who processes it for us
We use trusted providers to run the service. Each only receives what it needs: Stripe (payments), our hosting provider (storage), Anthropic (the AI model that drafts your documents from your CV text), Resend or an equivalent email provider (email delivery), Twilio (WhatsApp messages, if you opt in), and a public job-search API (used only with your target role and location, never your personal details). Some providers process data outside the UK under UK-approved safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Your uploaded CV and the documents we produce: 30 days after delivery, then deleted automatically.
- Your order record (name, email, package, dates): 6 years, for tax and dispute purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@ninetofivejobs.co.uk. If you're unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
